Almost 20 years ago the New York Academy of Art first held its Take Home a Nude ® auction to raise scholarship funds. Today the event – which features drawings, paintings, sculpture and photographs by students, faculty, and alumni as well as other established artists – is the largest of its kind, attracting over 650 collectors and supporters.
The 17th annual Take Home a Nude Art Auction and Party took take place on April 16th, 2008 at Phillips de Pury & Company. In a year of celebrating the Academy's 25th Anniversary, we are proud to say this event was our most successful and ambitious auction to date.
