premiered in Washington, DC. The New York Academy of Art
venue is sponsored by the American Institute of Iranian Studies.


Panel discussion with Iranian-American artists, March 25Shiva Balaghi, Ph.D., Associate Director, Kevorkian Center of New York University, and Trustee, American Institute of Iranian Studies, will moderate a discussion among three young artists – Negar Ahkami, Ali Banisadr and Bahar Behbahani – concerning their experiences as expatriate artists and the effect of their Persian heritage on their work.  Introduction by Erica Ehrenberg, Ph.D., Provost, New York Academy of Art and Director, American Institute of Iranian Studies.
