Robert Taplin

Adjunct faculty, Sculpture, is a graduate of Pomona College whose work has appeared in group and solo exhibitions throughout the U.S. His numerous awards include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a New York City MTA Arts for Transit Commission, a National Sculpture Society Gold Medal and multiple State of Connecticut Percent for the Arts Commissions. A former member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Sculpture Magazine, he has published articles in Sculpture Magazine and Public Art Review, and has frequently written criticism and reviews for Art in America. His most recent solo exhibitions have been at the TransHudson Gallery in New York City, the Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans and the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven. He is represented by the TransHudson Gallery, New York City.
