ERIC FISCHL

Adjunct faculty, Painting and Art History, received a B.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts and has taught at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax and the Santa Fe Institute of the Arts. For the past eighteen years, he has had at least two solo exhibitions a year in galleries and museums throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the Kunsthalle in Basel, Switzerland, the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Stedelijk Van Abbe Museum in Eindhoven, Holland, the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, the Waddington Gallery in London and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. He has been the subject of a retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and his works are in numerous private and public collections, including that of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is represented by the Mary Boone Gallery in New York City.
