Robert Armetta

Robert Armetta has studied extensively throughout the United States and Italy, at such schools as the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, the Water Street Atelier, the Florence Academy of Art and the New York Academy of Art, where he received his M.F.A. with honors in 1998. He has taught at Southampton College and at the Long Island Academy of Fine Art, of which he is the founder and director. He has exhibited widely in both one-person and group shows, including at the National Academy of Design in New York City, Seraphin Gallery in Philadelphia, Century Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia, and the John Pence Gallery in San Francisco. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
